About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Django Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing tech team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of backend development, RESTful API design, and deployment/hosting environments like AWS or similar cloud platforms. You’ll work closely with our product, design, and frontend teams to build robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable Django-based web applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for frontend integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices.
- Manage hosting, deployment, and monitoring using platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of professional experience with Python and Django.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL and database design.
- Experience with REST APIs and frameworks like FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with Django Channels for WebSocket/real-time features.
- Familiarity with caching and message brokers like Redis.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frontend integration.
- Experience in cloud hosting and deployment (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and server management (Nginx, Gunicorn, uWSGI).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
